Description

Joy of Sound run weekly year-round participatory community music and combined arts sessions, bringing people of all types together as co-creators of  beautiful and unique art. Through these activities, we share many personal, social and cultural, wellbeing benefits that inclusive society can bring — and  a whole lot of fun together in the process!

JOS team responded to Corvid-19 in the same poetic and spontaneous manner as they facilitate all-comers at customary sessions. By readily adapting JOS group-work approaches to on-line delivery, within one week of lockdown JOS sessions successfully crossed the line from terrestrial to cyber delivery, and we continue to Zoom ahead in full and hearty flow. Already we are delivering five different regular weekly Zoom sessions to participants who have little or no alternative access to creative activities and recreational respite. Soon more will be added in direct response to participant stated needs and preferences.

ALL JOS Zoom sessions are supported entirely from JOS project reserves and are FREE to attend!  However ...  Dear Festival goers, following your online participation...

A suggested minimum donation of £5.00 will help JOS sustain our work during the current period of acute challenge and change.  A heart felt Thank you!
