A Space To Be...

A Space To Be… is for young people aged 14–18.  Based in Hertfordshire museums artists use objects from the collections as inspiration for making art, craft, poetry and stories.  It's not art therapy, simply a way to give young people who are stressed, anxious or generally feeling low some time out in a friendly, safe and supportive environment. Most importantly – you don’t need any experience – everyone is welcome including complete beginners.  It is NOT a formal art class

The workshops are free and you will take part in 8 sessions of 2 hrs each after school working in groups of around 10.  Pizza will be provided so you won’t go hungry!

You can give it a go for one session to see if you like it before signing up.

Workshops take place in Hitchin, Welwyn/Hatfield, St Albans, Royston, Watford and Stevenage.
