Description

Inspired by Grayson’s Art Club and the hugely popular exhibition currently on at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, Bristol City Council has started its very own, city-wide Art Club.

The project, created in response to the mental health impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, aims to promote creativity as an important tool for supporting mental wellbeing and show that art can be good for you, whoever you are.

Bristol’s Art Club is therefore inviting everyone across the city to get creative and upload photographs of their artwork and creations to our online gallery. We’ll accept images of artworks in any medium from paintings to poetry, collage to cross-stitch and everything in between.

Selected artworks will then be displayed in an online gallery, on digital screens in the museum and on social media.

Bristol’s Art Club will be open until the 4 September. There will be a monthly theme to help provide inspiration but works can be submitted on any theme.

The theme for May is: NATURE

Bristol’s Art Club is open to all but under 18s will need a parent/guardian to submit work on their behalf.

Submit photographs of your work to Bristol’s Art Club through our online portal.
