Discover the simple joy of writing a letter, and the mindful benefits of putting pen to paper. The Norfolk Record Office will share some letters from their archive, followed by a creative letter writing session led by an experienced local author.

The workshop will be interactive and fun, and hopefully encourage you to take up pen and paper yourself and write a letter.

We will explore the value of receiving a hand written letter, and the positive effect on mental health, the knowledge that you may be making someone's day by sending a hand written letter.

We will explore creative writing exercises to help make our letter writing vibrant and appealing.

This workshop is on Zoom you will need to book in advance and have access to a reliable internet connection, and have use of a laptop, computer, tablet or phone to access the virtual workshop.
