Dance Centred - Physical Postcards

Dance Centred is an artist-led dance company based in Cornwall, passionate about delivering high quality, imaginative dance projects in which everyone can explore the potential of their bodies and ideas through dance, whatever their age and experience. We love finding new ways to get people dancing.

Through performance, workshops, choreography, and training, we aim to inspire the imagination and share our love of dance with community partnerships and collaborations.

The Physical Postcards project is a way for us to stay connected to our community through the Covid-19 crisis, as well as the dancers and groups we are already sending postcards to, we will now be working with health and community services to reach out to those who would appreciate the connection!

Each postcard has a lovely movement-based image on the front and dance ideas and music suggestions on the back for people to try.  We are delighted to be working with designers and photographers to make each card unique. Physical Postcard No.1 is called 54321 and gives people some inspiration to get moving alongside music suggestions! The postcards are being sent directly to people's homes every two weeks, it's always a welcome treat to receive something through the post and keeping those offline connections with those who need it most!
