An unique opportunity to release and visualize your emotions through character design.
Led by an art PhD candidate at University of the Arts London, this workshop will take you on a journey of self-discovery and creativity. The organizer Luobai will begin by introducing her research on anxiety disorders and showcasing her stunning illustrations, setting the stage for an exploration of character design.
Participants will learn basic character design skills and then take a break for mindfulness techniques. This pause will provide a chance to center oneself and focus on the present moment, enhancing creativity and self-awareness. After the break, participants will delve deeper into their emotions and create a character that represents their inner selves.
Please note that there is a £5 fee for drawing materials and snacks, which will be provided for you. Through the process of creation and sharing, participants will engage in a fun and meaningful activity that highlights the importance of mental health.
Overall, this workshop offers a unique and engaging way to learn about anxiety disorders while gaining valuable character design and mindfulness skills. You will leave with a better understanding of yourself, your emotions, and how to channel them into creative expression. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with others and grow as an artist and a person.
You don't need to have any art experience, just observe your emotions and explore your creativity. This workshop will be held in our university classroom, so the seats are limited (about 15). If you like to join us, please book your tickets as soon as possible:
