Flourish: From recovery post Grenfell to defining the value of co-creation by families and artists.

Lisa Nash (Curator, Social Practice) and Isabella Niven (Head of Social Practice) present the unique context of ACAVA's Flourish programme. Initiated in response to the closure of Maxilla Children's Centre, a much valued North Kensington community asset, project delivery began days before the Grenfell Tower Fire which has since defined the evolution of the programme.

ACAVA joined Arts Council England's National Portfolio in April 2023, which has enabled the expansion of Flourish to a new context. Lisa and Isabella will discuss the methodology and guiding principals which underpin the success of the programme in conversation with Flora Duley (artist and Flourish collaborator).
