Helen Dearnley SANE Creative Awards Scheme

As an artist and recovering carer, I am pleased to have been awarded the SANE Creative Awards Scheme for a second year.

Following the COVID pandemic, I embarked on a series of Monaco paintings, inspired by a fake Octopussy yacht spotted at a nearby marina.

Recalling my own experiences of being in Monaco in 1995, it was decided that austerity and "unpaid" caring was not a compatible lifestyle choice.

I decided that I would prefer to manifest wealth, prosperity and abundance.

SANE Creative Awards Scheme funding covers materials and travel funding to visit the RA Exhibition Painting The French Riviera later this year.
