Facilitated by CSM alumni and UAL Global Projects Officer Shannon Daly, this event will be an open dialogue followed by a workshop, critically examining how online spaces can function as pipelines into radicalisation, shaping people’s behaviours, identities, and the collective mental health of society. Manosphere ideologies, which are rooted in isolation, grievance, and reactionary beliefs, operate like contagions within digital ecosystems, exploiting people’s brain chemistry to reinforce harmful thought patterns.
Participants will engage with Shannon's ongoing project, Neuroplasticity Over Fear and Prejudice (NOFAP), which is currently about to take form as a research-driven deck of cards mapping manosphere and "incel" archetypes and ideologies.
Through speculative exercises, participants will analyse, disrupt, and reframe these cognitive patterns, exploring how rewilding the mind can foster resilience and cognitive flexibility.
