Description

Come and join The Garage's Creative Wellbeing Group to celebrate Creativity and Wellbeing Week, a national festival celebrating the power of creativity and culture to improve health and wellbeing. We are offering the opportunity to find out more about our Creative Wellbeing Project, a creative community project, aiming to address mental health challenges in our community, offering a space to improve wellbeing through creative activity. Our project offers opportunities to volunteer as well as participate in group sessions, share skills and find ways to reach our wider community with public workshops.

In this workshop you can meet members of the group, grab a drink and chat as well as take part in a gelli plate printing workshop. Gelli Plate printing on gel plates is a really accessible way to create your own artwork, using objects and tools with acrylic paint and paper.  No experience is required and there will be group members there to help guide you through out the session. There will be spaces to sit and chat over tea and biscuits as well as space to doodle or colour, if gelli plate printing isn't for you or you require a quieter space.

Please let us know if you have any access requirements in advance and if you would like someone to meet you before you come into the room, someone from the group can meet you outside the venue or in the cafe and walk up to Studio 4 with you.

Please book your space here and we look forward to seeing you there.
