Psych Art Annual Conference 5th June

PsychArt is a non-profit founded by Resident doctors in psychiatry, exploring the positive role of the arts in mental health for service users, artists and professionals.

This year's conference is really exciting and themed around altered states. We've got incredible speakers and facilitators for workshops lined up.

What can art tell us about our perception of time? How can new technologies use ancient circuits to create new shared rituals? What have cultures throughout history used psychoactive substances for and how did they impact on art and wellbeing? What can we learn from shared art making?

Altered States brings together keynote speakers Conrad Shawcross, Jennifer Crook, and psychedelic researcher Dr Pedro Rodriguez alongside workshops in rhythm, movement, embodied arts therapy for a day that doesn't define altered states so much as invite you to encounter them.
