first session for beginners/new dancers is free
Join the Norwich Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) for a beginners Scottish Country Dance class this #CreativityandWellbeingWeek. Enjoy a physical and mental workout whilst meeting new people in this social activity. It is also a lot of fun!
The first session for beginners/new dancers is free and classes then continue weekly (Mondays) except Bank Holidays, early January to June (Spring/Summer term) and then early September to December (Autumn Term).
There are only two sessions left in the 2024/5 programme, 19 May and 2 June, and we can't teach all you need to know in that time. But please do come along and have a taste of Scottish Dancing, and maybe stay to watch the experienced dancers for a while. The new term begins on Monday 8th September at 6.30 (for new people), and it would be good to see you there
There is free parking and you need to bring soft-soled shoes to wear (not trainers) and your own refreshment. Wear comfortable, loose clothing and, since you can get quite warm when dancing, it is advisable to wear thin layers rather than one thick one.
