Sensing Spaces of Healthcare Exhibition

GOSH Arts are delighted to invite you to join us at a breakfast view of our new exhibition ‘Sensing Spaces of Healthcare’ developed in collaboration with researchers from Bristol University.

The exhibition is part of the Sensing Spaces of Healthcare project, which rethinks NHS hospitals through a focus on sensory experiences. Following a period of creative research delivered at Great Ormond Street Hospital and at Southmead Hospital artists Rebecka Fleetwood-Smith, Gawain Hewitt, Jonathan Houghton-Van Beek, and Rosa Nguyen were invited to create new artworks that used the ‘Sensing Spaces of Healthcare’ creative methods as a starting point. This exhibition acts as a provocation to re-engage and re-consider the hospital environment and expand our understanding of what healthcare spaces could look and feel like.
