This 8-week programme, running on Thursday afternoons, 4th June - 24th July, is designed to promote the health and wellbeing of older community members who are experiencing social isolation, and who may have other conditions such as anxiety and depression, comprises a different creative activity for each session and a slap-up tea!
Along with the benefits of being in the beautiful surroundings of the Museum, the activities are designed to promote cognitive stimulation, the use of fine motor skills and the opportunity to interact with others who may have shared experiences.
Participants are welcome to bring along a relative, friend or carer for moral support.
Advance registration is essential.
