Unseen Tours is a non-for-profit social enterprise that offers unique walking tours around London led by people with lived experience of homelessness and social exclusion. This provides a unique and powerful perspective on the city’s streets, landmarks, and hidden stories. With every tour, Unseen Tours aims to challenge stereotypes around homelessness, build empathy, and foster meaningful connections between communities. The organisation provides training and ongoing support for the tour guides, enabling them to earn a fair income while sharing their stories in an empowering and impactful way.
More than just a walk through London, each tour is an opportunity to gain deeper insight into social issues, while seeing the city in a whole new light. Each 90–120 minute tour is led by a guide with lived experience of homelessness, offering a powerful mix of local history, personal storytelling, and eye-opening insights. All profits are reinvested to support the guides and grow the organisation’s social impact - with the majority of ticket sales going directly to the guides themselves.
We currently offer brilliant tours of: Brixton, Canning Town, King's Cross, London Bridge, West India Quay, and Westminster!
