Join us at 245 Hammersmith Road, for our Writing for Wellbeing event comprising of creative and self-reflective writing exercises. The workshop is designed to promote creativity, learn new tools to process our emotions and increase social engagement - and hopefully, have a giggle or two!
We will start with a ‘Brain Dump’ to get out all the stuff going around our heads like a washing machine, then share our favourite forms of creativity. There will also be a visual prompts exercise, sharing, and a guided free-write.
To finish, we will have a brief talk from our guest, the Director of London Arts & Health, Anna Woolf, and a 10min Q&A, where we will be discussing the theme of this year’s Creativity and Wellbeing Week, ‘The Role of Creativity in a Health Crisis.’
No experience is required, and it’s open to people for whom English is not your first language. There is no obligation to share your work, just come along and enjoy the afternoon.
Refreshments, pens & paper are provided. The building is fully accessible.
The event is 2hrs with a 10min break. The Workshop is available to 20 people.
Friday 19th May 12.30-12.30pm
Library Space, 245 Hammersmith Road, W6 8PW
