Creativity and Wellbeing Week Ambassador: Disco Neurotico

Disco Neurotico is a pioneering live events company creating immersive, inclusive, and radically welcoming experiences. Our mission is simple: to build events that feel safe, joyful, and engaging for those who often feel excluded from traditional live events – whether due to sensory overwhelm, anxiety, disability, or a sense of not belonging in mainstream spaces.

Our events combine live music, DJ sets, neuro-inclusive interactive elements and performance with carefully designed quiet areas, sensory-friendly spaces, and our signature Playmakers, who ensure every guest feels seen, supported, and part of the experience. This isn’t just about accessibility – it’s about revolutionising live events to prioritise connection, comfort and celebration for all.

Our work has taken us to some of the UK’s most exciting venues and festivals, including The Lowry, Southbank Centre, and Normal? Festival of the Brain. This year, we’re expanding our reach with upcoming events at Bristol Beacon and Dublin Dance Festival, alongside plans to tour our shows across the UK.

Disco Neurotico has received critical acclaim, with features in The Guardian, BBC, Bristol 24/7 and international press outlets like Zèbres & cie. Attendees and venues alike praise our ability to transform live events into truly inclusive experiences, with many describing it as the first time they’ve felt at home in a crowd.

Looking ahead, we are working to bring our model into healthcare settings and advocate for live events as a tool for wellbeing. We offer our experiences via social prescription, ensuring that those who struggle with isolation or mental health challenges can access live arts in a way that feels safe and enriching.

Disco Neurotico isn’t just about better access – it’s about reimagining live events for a world where everyone belongs.
