I’d love to spotlight my work as a creative wellbeing practitioner.
I designed and led some incredible wellbeing-focused music tech sessions in partnership with National Maritime Museum and Everyone’s a Singer. This project was funded by CHWA and GEM, and took participants on a 12-week journey of wellbeing which was so nourishing and beneficial for them. I also worked with Arts Depot on their creative wellbeing sessions with children.

About the artist – Jasmine Khalia:
Prominent audiovisual artist and creative practitioner Jasmine Kahlia is well-known for her proficiency in beatboxing, zine writing, and live looping. With the help of important institutions, she has made a substantial contribution to the arts sector in the United Kingdom since 2016.
In addition to performing at several London venues, Kahlia has received commissions from a number of organisations. She has been honoured for her artistic brilliance and business acumen, and she has provided more than 20 independent artists with paid jobs totalling around £9500 in 2024. Among the 19 art forms in which Kahlia works are filmmaking, sound design, music production, illustration, creative writing, and textile design.
She is a performer and usually organises her own shows, having made appearances at Bush Theatre, Wireless Festival, Rich Mix and Conway Hall last year. This year she will perform at Hackney Showroom, Filmig Barcelona, Royal Academy of Music and Libra Cafe.
