Description

I bring together creative, participatory and qualitative research methods and project management to explore how arts and heritage programmes support individual and community health and wellbeing. With doctoral training in public health, I'm comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels, from community members to international policy makers.

My recent projects include looking at how creative volunteering supports the wellbeing of vulnerable young people and using creative engagement to support social isolation, especially at the end of life. I'm passionately committed to the wellbeing of artists who work with complex health and psychosocial needs, advocating for training, support, and appropriate working arrangements. And I have a long-standing interest in developing programmes and policies that address health equity in culturally diverse communities.

I'd love to learn more about your projects and explore ways to work together.
